Microsoft Office is one of the programs commonly used by computer users all over the world. The office is a complete package that includes more words, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, OneNote, InfoPath, Groove and other applications. From modest to complex, a user can do a lot of tasks using Office applications. At this time, Microsoft Office is available in different versions that are compatible with Windows and Mac File. If you are want to use Microsoft Office applications, one needs to download and install them and then activate them to the device. To buy, choose from two options:

1. Offline from retail Store
2. On the Internet from the official Microsoft website

Once you have purchased, you need to follow the other three processes, i.e. download, install and activate. While you do this, a user may encounter a line 1321 with the "Setup cannot modify the file" message. This error occurs while attempting to install MS Office 2013 or 2016. Without troubleshooting error, you can continue. Fortunately, you can do this by following some simple steps that are mentioned below:

1. Use File Explorer to navigate and right-click the folder that you are installing for MS Office
2. Then Select Properties
3. Clear the Read-only box
4. Choose the Advanced button
5. Make sure that the box in front of the content encryption to secure the data is not selected (the option is available on the Advanced Attributes tab)
6. Hit OK and then select the Security tab
7. Choose the Edit button
8. Make sure that all is selected, and if not, click Add, and then type the Everyone group to the list.
9. Choose OK twice
10. Now, go to the following program:
11. Right-click the Office folder and select Properties
12. Repeat steps 3 through 9 in the Office folder
13. Close all running applications and try to install Microsoft Office again!
If you are still failed to install MS Office 2013 or MS Office 2016, then contact your Office Setup team and fix this problem without any problem. You can contact them at any time because they work 24 * 7.
